Who needs the audit

Four situations when it is time to sort it out

01

Budget goes, result invisible

  • Ad spend grows, revenue does not
  • Unclear which channels work and which are a drain
  • Contractor reports do not answer the question “where is the money?”
02

Marketing exists, controllability does not

  • Reports about clicks and reach, not about revenue
  • Decisions are made on feelings
  • No unified system of metrics and priorities
03

Need growth or a new market

  • Entry into a new region or country
  • Launch of a new product or direction
  • You want to double revenue, but the growth point is unclear
04

Sales department does not close requests

  • Leads arrive but do not convert into deals
  • Unclear whether the problem is in traffic or in sales
  • CRM exists, but the funnel is not set up
Process

7 days from brief to plan

A clear timeline without fading. Faster means superficial; longer means the consultant does not know what he is looking for.

Day 1-2

Access and data

We sign an NDA. You transfer access to ad accounts, CRM, analytics. I start collecting data.

Day 3-4

Competitors and demand

Teardown of 5 key competitors by 5 parameters. Search demand analysis, SERP positions, missed queries.

Day 5-6

Audit and plan

Teardown of the funnel, channels, sales department. USP formulation. Building a 3-month plan with budget and KPI.

Day 7

Report and call

I hand over a 15-20 page PDF plus presentation. We hold a 1-hour call: report review, answers to questions, next steps.

The audit does not sell you services. It is an independent diagnosis. You receive a document against which you can demand results from any executor - me, an agency, or your own department. If after the audit you decide to work with me in the fractional CMO format, the cost is credited to the first month.

Questions

Frequent Questions

How is your audit different from a free agency audit?
A free agency audit is a tool to sell their own services: they show problems they themselves solve. My audit is independent: you get a document that lets you demand results from any executor - me, an agency, or your own department. The report is self-sufficient: you can implement the plan yourself.
What data and access do you need to start?
Access to ad accounts (Yandex Direct, VK Ads and others), CRM if available, Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics. If something is missing, we start with what exists: lead tables, Excel, bank statements. Part of the audit is setting up minimal analytics so that the next decisions are made on data.
Do you sign NDA and how do you handle confidentiality?
Yes, I sign an NDA before access is transferred - a standard bilateral document. All data is stored only by me and deleted at the end of the project. No cases with the company name are published without your written permission.
What to do after the audit?
Three options: implement the plan yourself with your team (the document is self-sufficient); give it to contractors and control them by the plan; or hand it to me in the fractional CMO format - I am responsible for implementation and results in numbers, and the audit cost is credited to the retainer.
Why does the audit cost $600 and what if there are few findings?
$600 is 2-3 full working days of a CMO-level analyst: teardown of all channels, funnel, sales department, competitors, preparation of a 15-20 page report plus a 1-hour call. This is 3-5 times cheaper than one iteration of blind implementation. If during the teardown it turns out there are no problems or they are not in marketing, you get that conclusion and saved advertising budgets. The worst scenario is an audit by feelings; I do not do that.
How long does the audit take?
5-7 working days: day 1-2 access and data, day 3-4 competitors and demand, day 5-6 audit and plan, day 7 report plus 1-hour review call. Faster means superficial; longer means the consultant does not know what he is looking for.
We have no analytics at all. Is the audit possible?
Yes. We start with what exists: ad accounts, CRM or a lead table. Part of the audit is setting up minimal end-to-end analytics so that the next decisions are made on data. An audit without data is not an audit but a consultation; I do not do that.
How does the audit differ from a strategic session?
A strategic session (from $600) is a 6-month plan without a deep teardown of the current state, suitable when the system already works and needs acceleration. An audit is diagnostics from scratch: what works, what does not, where the budget leaks. If you are not sure what you need, start with a free 30-minute review and I will suggest the format.
